10.2024 Notes
High of the Month -
Celebrating another beautiful year with my husband. We’ve been married for six years now, together for ten, and not to be a total cliché, but life really does keep getting better with him as each year goes by.
What I Bought This Month -
Monthly Favorites -
Wearing - Sweater after sweater. Currently (and always) obsessed with anything Babaa. I’ve been wearing my Cardigan No16 often this month.
Beauty - I recently got the new Glossier You Deux perfume and I wake up excited knowing that I’ll be able to put it on each day; it’s that good. If you like woodsy, warm scents, with that fresh and clean Glossier You base, I think you’ll love this. Keep in mind, if you’re smelling this in person for the first time, spray a little on your skin! The fragrance reacts with your body chemistry, so it’ll smell a little different on everybody.
Eating - This was my favorite recipe this month: Maple Banana Bread with Cinnamon Spice Butter. I swapped the cinnamon spice butter with Trader Joe’s Maple Butter because I was feeling a little lazy, and it was great!
Health - Wooden Spoon Herbs Magic Magnesium. I take this every night and it’s so good. It mixes into water easily, tastes great, and I feel relaxed almost instantly when I take it. I know I’ll only have maybe 30 minutes of reading time each evening before I end up falling asleep because of this product.
Watching - My husband and I are currently watching Community. We love a comedy with a similar feeling to The Office, New Girl, etc., especially in the fall, and this is hitting the mark.
Reading - Intermezzo! I’m a Sally Rooney girl through and through. I love her writing style and her stories always feel so real to me. I’m not finished with this one yet, but I’m enjoying it so far and have a feeling I’m going to love it.
Listening - I couldn’t stop listening to Witches by Alice Phoebe Lou. Very fitting this month and put me straight into the spooky season spirit.
That’s all for October. It was a beautiful month and the perfect start to my favorite season. I hope you had a beautiful month as well!
